Why Convert VHS to DVD?
Your family’s history and legacy are stored on videotapes that you can no longer access because you no longer have a functional player. Family Videos on DVD.com converts these tapes to DVD so that you can enjoy them again. We are your premier source in NJ to transfer mini-DV (SD & HD), 8mm, betamax, DV-CAM, VHS-c, foreign VHS, and VHS tapes to DVD. For $19.99/tape, we include a comprehensive package of extra features that is unmatched by our competition. Family Videos on DVD has helped families just like yours, and you can read their testimonials here.
We provide personalized service that can be customized to suit your needs, with the goal of exceeding your expectations. Small projects generally have a turnaround time of 1-3 days. All work is performed at our company in Old Bridge, NJ.
Our first step, in converting VHS to DVD, is to transfer your tape to a digital video file. We use professional video editing software to precisely remove gaps at the beginning & end of your tape, and to restore video that has faded, hence dramatically increasing the quality of your video. If requested, we can also perform additional editing of your tapes to color correct and remove gaps within the video (Premium & Premium Plus Transfers) and to customize your video to suit your needs (Custom Editing). Most companies simply transfer your tape (including all gaps) directly to DVD, and are unable to perform any color restoration or additional video editing.
Professionally Authored DVD with Opening & Scene Selection Menus:
You choose a theme from over 450 different menu themes. Scene selection menus allow easy navigation to different sections of your video. Most companies provide a DVD with a bland generic opening menu without scene selection menus.
We can also include (1) an opening menu slide show with images captured from your tape and (2) background music on all menus (a $8/DVD upgrade).
Your video will include an opening title, chapter titles, and chapter markers at ~10 min. intervals, and your DVD cover will have a title and images captured from your tape.
Over time, your tapes fade and become damaged. Don’t keep your tapes in the closet any longer where no one can enjoy them. Don’t settle for companies that do not provide high quality transfer and all of the additional features that we provide free of charge. Call us today to convert your VHS tapes to DVD.
